Istar Mahamed began her career in multifamily property management, starting as a Leasing Consultant with StuartCo. Her dedication and drive quickly propelled her into the role of Assistant Property Manager, where she honed her skills in tenant relations, leasing operations, and property upkeep.

With a long-standing goal of transitioning into commercial property management, Istar now serves as an Assistant Property Manager at Modern Commercial Real Estate. She supports the management of over 10 properties, working closely with property managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, tenant satisfaction, and property performance.

Born and raised in Eagan, MN, Istar brings a strong sense of community and local insight to her work. Outside of real estate, she’s a passionate foodie who loves exploring new restaurants and culinary experiences.
